During World War II, Camp Hale was a winter training location for the 10th Mountain Division.
Cabin rentals are available at Camp Hale, which is located about 15 minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek. Log cabins offered include two bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, a fireplace and satellite television.
Pets are welcome with cabin rentals. A pet fee of $20 is charged per animal.
