Vail Public Library is a place to relax, unwind and, of course, read a good book. But it's more than that. Located between Lionshead Village and Vail Village, this multimedia library is central to all that happens in Vail, and it is also a stone's throw away from Gore Creek, making it possible to check out a book and read it outside on a park bench while enjoying the soothing sounds of water. Indoors, relax in a lounge chair by the fire or peruse their collection of movies and periodicals (note that you'll have to catch up on the gossip in your favorite magazine from the comfort of the library because periodicals cannot be checked out). Vail Public Library is also a hub of learning in Vail, with educational events, hands-on workshops for both adults and kids, author readings, yoga classes, scheduled story time and much more. Can't make it to the library in person? No problem. Vail Public Library offers its members access to a wide range of digital resources through popular platforms like OverDrive and Hoopla, including downloadable audiobooks, eBooks, eMagazines, music and videos; members can also access research resources via the library's website.
