Vail events are will keep you hopping all year long! The town offers a plethora of ways to watch, participate, appreciate and anticipate. There are running races and mountain bike races, the Taste of Vail, Oktoberfest, the largest-in-the-state Vail Farmer’s Market and Art Show where you can nosh on beef jerky, listen to world-class jazz and buy a few heirloom tomatoes before you pick up an original piece of art.
Other engaging Vail events are kids’ adventure races, art festivals and the wildly popular GoPro Mountain Games that combine arts, music and rad-adventure sports into a long weekend of spectator-friendly fun.
Throughout the summer you can enjoy outdoor yoga classes – several free of charge – bluegrass music, jazz festivals and a packed schedule of dance and concerts at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.
Summer seems short in the mountains but that just means locals tend to pack more in to each day, week and month. Live music is offered on top of Vail Mountain. Vail Symposium finds interesting speakers throughout the year to keep the locals in the know about world happenings.
