All the hard-core athletes out there who love the beautiful Rocky Mountain scenery should check out the annual Transrockies Run. This is a multi-day, point-to-point race that allows athletes to cover some serious terrain while building new friendships and challenging themselves on an adventure. Racers will be fed and housed in a tent city and will have access to hot showers, first-aid and other necessities. The run begins in Buena Vista and ends in Beaver Creek, traversing through the heart of the White River and San Isabel National Forest. The run occurs annually during the month of August.
