This 1,548-acre Colorado state park is 10 miles south of Eagle and surrounded by the White River National Forest. The park includes a 42-acre lake and more than 7 miles of trails to explore. It boasts natural scenery and wildlife as well as a number of opportunities for outdoor recreation and overnighting at campsites or in a cabin or yurt. Popular summer activities in the park include fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. The park is open all year, and the winter months bring in snowshoers and cross-country skiers, as well as ice fishermen and snowmobilers.
