This par 72 Pete Dye–designed golf course is on the far west side of the Vail Valley, which means a longer golf season. This course is owned and operated by the Town of Gypsum and offers plenty of challenges for golfers of all ability levels. It’s not a flat and easy course: There are steep hills, tight turns and plenty of sweet-smelling sage dotting the course. The signature hole is number 15 with steep drops and angles that will make you sweat. It’s a par 5, more than 550 yards long, and not many golfers can reach the tee in two shots. Challenge on! The course provides lessons and clinics for adults and kids. Gypsum Creek offers season passes, kids’ programs, lessons and, of course, the 19th hole in the Gypsum Creekside Grille Restaurant.
