If you find yourself wanting a change of scenery or you’d just prefer to stick closer to downtown for your cold weather Edwards activities, then head to the Cordillera Nordic Center, which offers 11 kilometers of groomed track, snowshoe tours, ski instruction and a sledding hill for the younger members of the family. Cordillera also boasts an outdoor ice rink complete with skate rentals, a warming hut and complimentary hot beverages. You may also choose to enjoy snowshoeing, backcountry skiing or cross-country skiing in the wilderness areas just outside of Edwards. When you find your muscles in need of a rest or your body in need of warming up, head to downtown Edwards to enjoy wintertime shopping or dining.
