Squash Blossom is a Vail Village jewelry shop focused on designer jewelry and fine art. It's operated since 1973, first in Colorado Springs then later in Vail, Colorado.

Founded more than four decades ago, Squash Blossom was founded by then newlyweds John and Patti Cogswell after a fateful honeymoon to Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni reservations. They returned home with a car full of turquoise jewelry, which was the beginning of their longstanding business.

Squash Blossom's Vail store specializes in high karat gold and precious gem stones; it also presents a diverse geographic range of talents. Artistic integrity and superb craftsmanship is a main focus.

"We are one of the only places in the Vail Valley to carry genuine vintage and contemporary Native American jewelry," said manager Lauren Merck.

A long list of quality jewelry designers include Alex Sepkus, Atelier Zobel, Penny Preville, Irene Neuwirth, Gurhan, Jamie Wolf, ILA, KJ Designs, Sarah Graham, Todd Reed, TAP, Tresor, Tezer, Toby Pomeroy and many more. Click here to see Squash Blossom's full list.

Squash Blossom currently still has a store in Colorado Springs.
