The Pitmaster BBQ and Music Fest is coming to Nottingham Park in Avon, Colorado, Aug. 18-19.
The festival will feature some of the best national pitmasters showcasing some of their award-winning smoked, flavored, barbecue meats.
Chefs bring together unique regional tastes from southern vinegar based sauce to dry rubs. In addition, the event will feature some of Coloradoan's favorite foods, craft beers and spirits.
Pitmasters showcasing their work include Leslie Roark Scott (Yazoo, MS), Jason Ganahl (Westminster, CO), and Scott Roberts (Driftwood, TX).
Event activities include cooking demos, family backyard games, kid activities, and musical performances at the pavilion.
Enjoy the sounds of local and national bands performing at the Avon Performance Pavilion all weekend long. Acts performing include Strange Americans (Denver, CO), Wildermiss (Denver, CO), Diegos Umbrella (San Fransico, CA), and Bonnie and the Cyldes (Denver, CO).
All ticket prices include RFID wristband for cashless payments, live pavilion performances, access to food and retail vendors, climate controlled restrooms, and BBQ tokens to spend at the Pitmaster BBQ and Music Fest.
