Summertime Beaver Creek Activities

Summer is one glorious adventure after another when in Beaver Creek. As a matter of fact, life can be a non-stop adventure with all the summer Beaver Creek activities offered. The only problem is trying to decide what to do first.

There are plenty of Beaver Creek things to do come summer. There is mini golf right at the base of the mountain, trampolines and the rock wall. Head out on a hike. There is the popular 6-mile hike to Beaver Lake. For something a little more suitable for the younger hiker, tackle the sensory trail by the Beaver Creek chapel. Take the time to toss pebbles in the river and collect leaves.

If you have two wheels, there are tons of warm weather Beaver Creek activities and places to ride. Rent bikes and cruise on the bike paths or the singletrack. You can end up at one of the fun parks or make a plan to hit every park in Beaver Creek.

The Wild West means horseback riding. There is an outfitter right on Beaver Creek Mountain that offers rides as well as pony camps for kids. Turn it into a romantic event by horseback riding to dinner at Beano’s. Or go wild and head to Avon for the Beaver Creek Rodeo.

Beaver Creek Activities are Fun Under the Sun

Summertime Beaver Creek activities happen every day. Come Fridays, Beaver Creek knows how to celebrate with Friday Afternoon Club. It’s like a happy hour for parents and a myriad of kids’ activities for the children. Throughout the summer there are free yoga classes; you can stretch while the kids check out the nearby park.

Book a tee time or sign up to play tennis. Visit a spa for a treatment.

Throughout the summer, other fun Beaver Creek activities are concerts and movies. Check out the Vilar Performing Arts Center’s varied line up. Usually there is something for the whole family.

No matter your option or your speed, there’s always plenty to do while in Beaver Creek.
